This fascinating fossil has been polished to reveal the Ammonite’s iconic spiral structure, with warm honey, caramel and soft golden-brown tones running throughout the preserved shell. Across the surface, subtle pearlescent flashes appear as the piece moves through the light, giving areas of the fossil a delicate iridescent quality.

Both sides reveal different details within the ancient shell, from the clearly defined central spiral to the natural chambers and mineral-filled sections preserved during fossilisation. Small areas of the original matrix remain visible too, creating a lovely contrast against the smoother polished surface.
