A striking polished Chrysoprase tower from Indonesia, featuring vivid fresh green colouring contrasted by earthy brown mineral markings and naturally complex patterning throughout.

This piece has a particularly unusual appearance, with areas of bright apple and mint green running alongside deeper green tones and warm rust-brown inclusions. Rather than being completely uniform, the stone retains plenty of its natural character, with fractures, mineral pockets and variations visible beneath the polished surface.

Chrysoprase

Chrysoprase is a green variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz. Its characteristic green colour is traditionally associated with the presence of nickel-bearing minerals, with shades ranging from soft pale green through to much stronger apple-green tones.

Metaphysically, Chrysoprase is traditionally connected with the Heart Chakra and is often associated with emotional renewal, compassion, self-acceptance and encouraging a more positive relationship with oneself.
