A spectacular large Malachite freeform featuring exceptionally bold bullseye formations, sweeping concentric bands and multiple shades of rich green across a beautifully polished face.
Weighing 657g and standing approximately 13cm tall, this is a substantial collector and display piece. The polished face reveals an incredible concentration of circular and oval formations, ranging from vivid emerald and bright green through to deep forest tones. Each formation is surrounded by fine natural banding, creating the unmistakable patterns for which high-quality Malachite is so highly prized.
Rather than being polished uniformly on every surface, this piece retains areas of its natural formation on the reverse. These textured sections provide a fascinating contrast to the glossy front and offer a glimpse into the mineral's original structure before cutting and polishing.
The combination of dramatic bullseye patterning, substantial size and natural sections makes this a particularly striking Malachite specimen for a mineral collection, crystal display or statement interior piece.
Malachite
Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide mineral recognised immediately by its extraordinary green colouring and distinctive banded formations. It commonly develops in botryoidal, fibrous and layered masses within the oxidised zones of copper deposits.
When these formations are cut and polished, their internal structure can reveal concentric rings, flowing bands and distinctive “bullseye” patterns like those seen throughout this specimen.
Within crystal traditions, Malachite is often associated with transformation, protection and personal growth. Its intense green colour also leads to its traditional connection with the Heart Chakra.

Malachite is best kept dry and treated as a display mineral. Avoid water, chemical cleaners, perfumes and abrasive products. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth and do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
