This beautiful Indonesian Ocean Jasper Crescent Moon #2 weighs approximately 235g and measures around 13.5cm, displayed on a gold-toned metal stand that perfectly complements its warm, earthy colouring.

This piece has a particularly beautiful mixture of translucent smoky grey, golden brown and creamy white. Long, irregular bands travel through the stone from top to bottom, creating an almost flowing landscape across the crescent, with tiny flashes of soft pink and rusty red adding unexpected colour amongst the more neutral tones.

The translucent areas allow light to pass through the stone beautifully, revealing layers and inclusions that aren't immediately visible from every angle. Against these clearer sections, the denser cream and golden formations create wonderful contrast and give the moon an almost painterly appearance.
