Fire Quartz Sphere | No. 1

A fiery Fire Quartz sphere, weighing approximately 347g and measuring around 6cm. This gorgeous piece is packed with rich orange, red, rust and golden tones, creating incredible depth throughout the clear Quartz.

The internal structure on this sphere is absolutely beautiful. Layers of Hematite inclusions appear suspended throughout the Quartz, ranging from glowing burnt orange to deeper red and burgundy tones. Between them are clear pockets, fractures and reflective internal surfaces that catch the light and produce beautiful rainbow flashes as the sphere is turned.

Fire Quartz is also commonly known as Hematoid Quartz, referring to Quartz containing Hematite inclusions. The combination creates some incredibly dramatic specimens, with every sphere displaying its own completely individual distribution of colour, clarity and internal formations.
