Fine parallel layers curve and sweep through the Carnelian, creating almost topographic patterns through the deeper orange and red sections. One face features a dramatic ribbon of tightly packed cream and pale orange bands running vertically through the stone, while another reveals broader waves of translucent amber and rusty red.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThere are also small orb-like formations and pockets of contrasting colour scattered throughout the piece, adding another layer of detail to the more linear banding.
